Notewize
Built in 2024, Notewize is an AI music-education app for iOS and Android. Now in Beta, new music students can learn how to play the guitar using our AI music transcription system that tells you whether you got the note right or wrong. As of May, 2024, Notewize has its first 50 customers and is on track to be a scalable app with its first thousand users by end of FY25.
StylSpot
Built in 2023/2024, StylSpot is an AI social media app for iOS and Android for fashion communities. The app helps like-minded style-conscious folks find a sense of belonging with their unique outfit choices. With similar recommender technology employed to instagram, the app is currently in beta testing and will be released publicly in June, 2024. StylSpot has its first 100 beta users and is on track for its first thousand in 2024.
FreshPets
Built in 2023, FreshPets is a mobile app that allows users to wash their dogs. Through our app, users scan a QR code and get their dog washed. Dog Kiosks will be assembled in 2024 that will be set up near dog parks, where users can select from 9 separate options including shampooing, conditioning, blowdrying, rinsing and a range of pampering options. Our work included raspberry pi integration, stripe payment and AWS internet of things that allows a k9000 dog washer to be connected to the internet, and our app.
Unfortunately, in late 2023, the founder of FreshPets (Kish) has contracted leukemia and the project has been paused while he recovers. We wish Kish a speedy recovery.
Pianify
Built in 2023, Pianify is an AI piano education app that teaches new piano students how to play the piano. With a variety of pop piano tracks from Adele through to One Republic, our AI technology cancels out noise so the app can play a backing track from the phone’s speaker, whilst performing real-time note detection. As of 2023, Pianify is on track for its first 500 users mainly based in Vietnam and Canada.
Vera
Built in 2023, Vera is an AI music-therapy app for iOS and Android. It was engineered to free up busy nurses’ time in hospital wards around Australia by using AI to generate and play familiar music for patients suffering from demenita and Alzheimer’s disease. The AI technology creates 3 endless music stations based on the severity, age and condition of the patient. The stations: Reminisce, Relax and Energise were meticulously crafted to help patients remember their loved ones, feel less agitated and supported through their dementia journey. Vera is now in a scale-up stage and has daily increasing users.
Vively
Built in 2022, Vively is a mobile healthcare app for iOS and Android. Featuring a real-time glucose monitoring hardware integration, Vively allows glucose monitoring real-time insights on how your diet, exercise, sleep and stress affects your health so you can become a healthier person. With several hundred users, Vively is now in a scale-up stage via our startup assistance and guidance. We wish Vively the best.
Google Creative Lab
As a one off special technology in 2021, we were commissioned to build a novel beat tracking app that allowed music makers to clap their hands or beat box to generate new drum beats for music tracks. The AI converts “clapping sounds” from a phone’s microphone into a live, ready to use drumkit sound .wav file on a mobile device.
Stylefit
Built in 2021, we engineered a brand new furniture rendering system for the likes of Snooze and One World furniture. Featuring ability to zoom, rotate and style furniture around your living room, the app uses augmented reality on your phone.
Profound Homes
Built in January 2021, Profound is a brand new property-sales mobile app and website. We give you priority access to Australia’s off-market properties. Featuring both Google Maps and Apple Maps integration, the app displays properties available for sale that you never knew existed. Best of all, it’s free!
URef
This app was built by us in 2018-2019 and it reports how biased a referee is in English Premier League Games. Featuring a first-of-kind data scraping algorithm that figures out genuine referee bias, this app feeds data to bookmakers to help them ensure the best, most accurate odds are presented to punters. Make your voice heard with referee statistics and rate key decisions in live soccer EPL games.
Shot By Sound
This application was a job with David Jones and Daniel Johns where we were asked to build a system that would take photos based on instruments’ sounds and singers’ vocals. For example, a snare drum would make a particular camera take a photo, and a keyboard melody would make several other cameras take photos. All the photos were then assembled to create a video.
We built the electronics, software and firmware in order to achieve this.
Audio Fingerprinter
This application is used to detect plagiarism in music and pay musicians royalties through crypto currency.
Our Client, Emanate has a music-streaming platform where musicians can upload their music.
Two problems we are addressing:
How do musicians who have previously uploaded their music:
ensure their music won’t be plagiarised?
guarantee they’re properly rewarded for plays?
Solution:
Music-uniqueness audio fingerprinter. This captures the most unique part of a sound and stores it on the blockchain, ensuring a one-of-one source of musical truth.
Microphone Equalisation Algorithm
Sitehive is a company that makes waterproof Internet Of Things (IOT) devices that monitor urban noise pollution so their customers can avoid fines. For example, if a construction site sound is too loud, the Sitehive device will switch off their noisy equipment.
Our job: In 2021, we built C and Python code that runs in real-time to make sure their microphone is accurately measuring sound across all frequencies.
We write software for Sitehive to flatten the microphone of their treble-heavy microphone so Sitehive device microphones sound the same across many different circuit boards.
Bullet-Time Photography System
Spliceboys is a company that makes films for the likes of Marvel, Disney and ads for Range Rover and Nike.
We built their point of difference: A unique high-speed “bullet-time” photography system.
This system is comprised of 100 electronic circuits that each sit on top of a Canon DSLR camera.
Each photograph is queued in an algorithm that converts the individual photos into video frames
Each circuit is connected to a network and fires a signal so unique videos can be taken
